I’m Daniel Alm - designer, creative director, and explorer of materials. Mostly self-taught, I’ve built my career through constant experimentation and a commitment to craft. As founder and Head of Design at Nocs, I’ve designed and engineered a range of audio products that have been featured in Wallpaper, Wired, Design Milk, Domus and more.

My work lives at the intersection of sound, form, and technology. Whether it’s building speakers from recycled aluminum, sculpting plywood into precision-tuned cabinets, or collaborating with fashion houses and automotive brands, I’m drawn to projects that challenge assumptions and push for purity—both visually and sonically.

I take a hands-on approach from the first sketch to the final tuning session.
